Spring in the North is the most amazing of all the seasons as the first humble signs of renewal covertly emerge scattered here and there, perfectly cloaked amongst the grays and browns of winter’s lingering and boastful ending. It’s these incomparable delicate gifts, gently coaxed out of their hiding places by April’s soft rains, appearing with thankful suddenness in all their beautiful splendor, as if by some sort of sleight of hand out of the stark nothingness in the blink of a winter-weary eye, that most soothes the soul after a long winter.
