I wish the weatherman accepted the fact that we can handle the truth. I would much prefer that compared to his 5-day outlooks of “finally! warmer and sunny!” when in fact he knows in his frigid, dodging, jiving, prevaricating heart that spring is a pipedream on acid and might possibly never arrive before summer clocks in for its 3 month shift. My sister-in-law told me to stop posting pictures of winter, it just eggs them on. Hardboiled, yes, but spot on, so I’ve decided to give this morning’s winterscape the cold shoulder. Yesterday I found the sunrise in a drop of dew in this interesting world of moss. Full disclosure, I had to wait two hours after the sun rose waiting for the frost to turn to “dew”, but I know you can handle the truth.
