As an avid observer in the great Out There I’m learning daily that the real magic is always a surprise. Just as yesterdays’ weary gray eyelids were about to close for another long December night of frozen dreams under a heavy sky devoid of stars, the sun, AWOL for the entire day and then surprisingly visible not to the human eye but instead on only the tallest of trees for a brief moment before setting, decided to remind anyone who might have been lucky enough to be watching that the most gorgeous, sky swallowing sunsets come out of the finest of fissures, that razors edge slot between horizon and infinity.
