Just as the sun came cruising up over the trees this morning it was suddenly caught by surprise and had to slam its brakes on (I heard the screech which is how I got involved) for the moon who was driving along with its headlights off right in front of it in the very same lane. Starting to get a little hot over what was causing this astronomical traffic jam, the sun paused there in the cloudbank not sure if using its horn would be a smart move or not on this obviously orbitally impaired moon at this very early hour. The moon took its time enjoying the scenery like a Sunday driver before veering off and disappearing completely on some unknown and unseen exit, leaving an open road for the sun and a few puzzled clouds to continue on their morning commute.
