After the adult thunderstorms rolled through yesterday evening, boisterously yelling and arguing about this and that, roaring at each other’s silly jokes, playfully throwing huge buckets of water and ice at each other, recklessly zapping each other with their giant mosquito racquets and heading towards the much larger party that was gathering just south of here, this juvenile teenager, who obviously was bent out of shape from being overtired, ignored and wanting some attention, threw a little temper tantrum. Caught between the swirling black and blue hangover from the previous party and the serene fairy-tale golden orange calm of the maturing sunset trying to lullabye it to sleep, like any healthy youngster when you finally kiss them goodnight on their smooth soft forehead, you could taste the sweet smell of youth.
