Waiting on the dock each month for the moon to rise full gives me a chance to slow down and reconnect with every inch of this place I call home. When it first appears over the treetops, it’s stunning size and illustriousness never fails to remind me of just where I rank in the Big Scheme of Things which I think, if you are wondering, is on the itsy side of bitsy. When last night’s rising finally arrived, drenched in pink after being dipped in the soft haze at sunset, I basked in blissful insignificance in its glow.
