As the curtain fell on the storms last evening the audience went completely silent, a humid fog smoldering in the thick tropical air. Exhausted from the ordeal and with no energy left to move, the remaining clouds in attendance hung scattered and motionless, speechless, killing time in the sky waiting for the next act. Backstage, a fresh hatch of mosquitoes started buzzing with excitement about the possibility of the coming sunset. As the only human being as far as the eye could see, I knew I would be the only one filling the hat with donations. But it was worth it.
