There are clusters of life that spend their entire existence rooted in the penumbra, whose outermost skins rarely experience that existential moment when the ancient, yellow warmth of the sun makes first contact, directly injecting its golden elixir of sleep inducing, stress reducing, bone strengthening, immune boosting, depression fighting and life lengthening chemical reactions. Over millions of years, human beings evolved two critically important adaptations to resolve this biological conundrum which can be used with very little effort, in no particular order, with no particular speed and, the best part, with no particular place to go.
