Waterfalls and Rivers

The abundant pristine waters found across the North Woods is perhaps our most magnificent and important resource. There are more than 3200 lakes streams and rivers to explore, photograph or simply sit next to in complete wonder. These waters drain into Lake Superior to the north, Lake Michigan to the east and the Mississippi River to the west. Fortunately for us, a lot of this water is in a big hurry to get there, forming beautiful and inspiring waterfalls along its never-ending journey to far away oceans.
