Wildlife

The Northwood’s is home to an amazing array of living creatures ranging from the tiniest insects to large roaming furbearers. They are seemingly everywhere and yet, unless you are patient enough to place yourself where they regularly show themselves, they can seem reclusive and almost invisible in the vast forests and marshes of the area. Fortunately, our region is still blessed with mainly healthy, wild habitat for their survival and reproduction. Humans continue however to put real pressure on some species and for that reason we need to be keep vigilant and regularly assess and celebrate their successes and commit to avoiding that which causes their failures.
